Daddy rubbed her thighs, not touching her burning hot bottom. “You did so well, Little girl. I’m proud of you for taking your punishment without fussing. Your bottom is so pretty all red and hot, the skin raised from my palm prints.”

She tried to catch her breath as he lifted her by the waist and set her on her feet. Luckily he kept his hands on her hips because she was swaying back and forth, unsteady on her feet.

When his hands slid up to cup her face, he swiped away tears with his thumbs. She hadn’t realized she’d been crying. He kissed her gently all over her face. “How do you feel?”

“Sorry,” she admitted. “I’ll be good from now on.”

He smiled at her and rubbed her back. “You won’t always be good. Sometimes Little girls need to be naughty. I suspect you’ll want another spanking in a few days. Spankings help Little girls purge their stress and center themselves.”

She shook her head. “I won’t need another spanking, Daddy.” She had trouble imagining how he could be right, but she also knew her Daddy seemed to be very insightful. She hadn’t known him to judge her or anyone else incorrectly in the past, so maybe she would see things through a different lens in a few days. For now, she thought one spanking was enough.

Daddy rose to his feet and turned her around. “Let’s go to the kitchen now. You can stand in the corner while Daddy cooks breakfast.”

She sniffled and nodded. “Yes, Sir.” She padded out of the nursery on shaky legs.

Daddy guided her to the spot he intended her to stand and pointed at the corner. “Nose to the wall. Keep your hands away from your bottom. You don’t get to rub it. The sting will help you learn to behave.”

She sighed as she faced the wall, fisting her hands at her sides. Darn him for knowing she wanted to rub the burn away. Maybe he was psychic.

She stood very still while he cooked. The scent of bacon had already filled the room. He’d already cooked it before he’d come to wake her up. Now the scents were compounding.

She didn’t ordinarily eat breakfast, but her stomach was growling. Maybe she could eat if someone else prepared it. Maybe the reason she didn’t eat was because she hadn’t ever wanted to do the work. She would rather sleep in as late as possible than cook.

“Okay, Rainbow. You can come to the table now.”

She turned around and shuffled toward him, brushing her messy hair from her face. “Are you still mad at me, Daddy?” She hated the idea that she’d disappointed him.

His eyes went wide, as he sat in a chair at the table and reached out, motioning her closer. He pulled her into his arms and cupped her bottom. “I was never mad at you, Baby girl. Not at all. I expect you to test your boundaries, especially in a newly defined relationship. I’ll never get angry at you when you need a spanking. I’ll just give you what you need, and then it’s done.” He slid his hand up and brushed her hair over her shoulder.

She blinked. “You’re not upset?”

“Nope. Never. And after you accept your discipline, the slate is always wiped clean. It’s all over. I don’t want you to continue to fret over whatever lands you in the corner with a sore bottom either. It’s done now.”

“Oh.”

He gave her hair a playful tug. “Besides, how could I be mad when I got the pleasure of glancing at your sweet little tush all red and swollen while I cooked? The only emotion I felt was horny and hard.”

She scrunched up her face. “Hard isn’t an emotion, Daddy.”

He lifted both brows. “It’s not? I beg to differ. I think it is.”

She glanced at the table. “Can we eat now? I’m starving.”

He chuckled. “You told me you don’t eat breakfast,” he said as he stood, lifted her up, and settled her in the booster seat.

She lifted her arms out of the way and watched as he fastened the strap around her waist. It was weird sitting in the chair naked, but the cool plastic of the seat felt good on her sore bottom. “That was before I smelled your cooking. I would probably like breakfast if I didn’t have to cook it myself.”

He kissed her forehead. “From now on, Daddy will always make sure you eat delicious balanced meals. It’s not good for Little girls to work half a day on an empty stomach.”

She giggled. “It’s never empty, Daddy. I always have at least two cups of coffee.”

He laughed again. “I think we need to replace all that caffeine, cream, and sugar with eggs, bacon, and pancakes.”

“Pancakes?” She sat up straighter, not even minding when he put her bib on.

“Yep.”

“You made pancakes too?”
