He shifted a bit, changing the angle. “Shit, Alex, that’s it. Right there, right there, right there,” he chanted before returning his mouth to mine.

His movements grew frantic and uncoordinated. I helped as much as I could, punching my hips up and using my hands to rock his ass on me. He trembled and shook, muscles beginning to spasm uncontrollably.

“I can’t hold back. It’s too good. You’re nailing it every fucking time. Alex!”

“Come. Come now, Ryder!” I practically screamed the command, working my arms and hips as fast as I possibly could. Sweat poured from my forehead, and my heart thundered like a sprinting thoroughbred.

His grip tightened, causing pain in my scalp as he threw his head back and groaned so loud the windows shook. He was the most gorgeous thing I’d ever seen, sweaty, shaking, and coming so hard his ass strangled my cock in rhythmic pulses that had my eyes crossing.

It took me right over the edge with him. I struggled to keep my eyes open as the sharpest ecstasy invaded my system, but the pleasure was too powerful to fight. My eyelids slammed shut as I came so hard I bit my cheek.

“Damn, Alex…” Ryder said as he came down from the high. “That was epic.”

I chuckled. “Mind-blowing.”

“Mmm.” Energy bled from him, and he sagged against me, resting his cheek on my shoulder. “My arms and legs feel like they aren’t attached to my body anymore, and I don’t even think I could spell cat. You’ve fucked me stupid.”

“You complaining?” I asked as I stroked my fingertips up and down his damp back.

“Never. You could fuck me within an inch of my life, and I’d beg you to finish the job.”

That made me emit a weak laugh, as I didn’t have the energy for more. “I’m not sure if that’s flattering or morbid.”

“Your choice,” he said with humor in his voice. “How’s your ass?”

“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”

“I wasn’t the one sitting on a stiff carpet with a full-grown man riding me like his favorite rollercoaster, which you are. No lines, cheap admission price, and plenty of screaming thrills.”

“Where do you come up with this shit?”

He shrugged against me.

“My ass is numb, my tailbone is bruised, and I just might have some rug burn on my cheeks.”

Ryder chuckled. “Worth it?”

“Damn straight.”

We sat in silence for a few moments, our bodies cooling and our hearts slowing. I had no idea what time it was, but Ryder’s stomach grumbled, and he yawned at least three times.

“Let’s go home. I need to feed you and put you to bed,” I said as I trailed my fingers up and down his back.

I could feel his lips curve into a smile against my shoulder. “I like it when you call my penthouse home.”

I did too.

“Can we do this again?” he whispered, sated in my arms. “I want you to fuck me again, but this time I don’t want you to pull out. I want to be as close to you as possible for as long as possible.” He found the strength to lift his head and look me in the eye. “Will you fall asleep inside me?”

I’d do anything for this man, but a request I’d dreamed about more than once? There was only one answer. “Every night if you want it.”

CHAPTER SIX

RYDER

“You ready for this?”

I glance over at the man, my man, who made my stomach flutter and my heart skip a beat. Yep, he gave me all those cliché princess movie feelings. He didn’t even bat an eyelash at the idea of accompanying me to a dinner with my parents—a dinner bound to be a disaster.

For one thing, my parents expressly asked me to arrive alone, and for another, I’d be dropping an atomic bomb on their life plan for me. As soon as I crawled out of bed, I called my family’s chef to inform her I’d be bringing Alex, but managed to convince her to keep the information to herself. She could avoid any awkward conversations, and I could maintain the element of surprise. Of course, I now owed her a bottle of her favorite tequila as payment for her silence.

“Yes and no.” I glanced at him, dressed in navy shorts and a light gray polo shirt.

He’d wanted to wear something more formal, but I’d insisted he not change himself into something he thought my parents would approve of. I’d have been happy for him to wear jeans and a band T-shirt, but he’d flat-out refused. We compromised on this preppy outfit, which still made him look like a near stranger, since it was fancier than he ever dressed.

I sighed. “I’m ready for it to be over, and the only way for that to happen is to plow through it.”

Alex grunted, his typical response when stressed or processing. The noise made me grin for the first time in hours. “Are you ready for this?”
