Tonight had been that perfect time. The air had been cool enough to ease the heat and sweat coming off our bodies as we’d fucked. I’d found a spot where there was practically no chance of us being discovered. Our background music was the sound of a babbling brook and the little forest critters calling out to each other.
Neither of us had lasted very long. When Jules had seized control and climbed on top of me so he could ride my dick however he wanted, I’d happily conceded. It didn’t matter who was where… I always came out on top because being with Jules left me physically and emotionally fulfilled. My sexual needs were always sated and I had no doubt that Jules loved me as much as I loved him when he clung to me afterwards. He’d been telling me he loved me countless times just by looking at me a certain way or by offering up an intimate but not sexually charged caress. I saw it in his eyes when he woke up in my arms every morning and when he drifted off to sleep every night.
“Oh wow,” Jules said in disbelief when he got a glimpse of the night sky for the first time. We’d started making love while the sun had begun its descent below the horizon and now we were being greeted by a clear sky alight with hundreds, probably even thousands of stars. The moon was completely full and unfettered by even a single cloud. “Definitely worth the wait,” Jules commented as he snuggled up against me and stared at the sky. “Definitely worth the wait,” he repeated, but this time I could feel his eyes on me. He levered himself up enough that he could kiss me. “Have I told you how much I love you today?”
“Well, let’s see. You said you loved how the trees were like a mysterious maze, you loved being on BJ’s back again, you loved that waterfall we mistakenly thought would be warm enough for a quick swim, you loved the doe and her two fawns—”
Jules kissed me deeply. “I love you so much, Flynn. Forever,” he said in all seriousness.
“I know you do. I feel it in here,” I responded as I pressed his hand against my chest so he could feel the scar. “I feel it in everything you say and do, even when you’re being a giant pain in my ass.”
Jules chuckled and settled his body so his upper half was pressed up against me in a way that he could still see the stars. “I think I could get used to this,” he said.
“Even using all of Mother Nature’s elements to… take care of business?”
“Okay, that will take some getting used to.”
“So this probably wouldn’t be the best time to tell you I have a roll of toilet paper in one of the packs on my saddle?” I asked.
“Tell me you’re joking,” Jules said. When I didn’t respond, he lifted himself so he could look me in the eye again. “Flynn, tell me you’re joking.”
I shifted my eyes from his, but he wasn’t buying the innocent act. I could tell he was on the verge of one of his freak-out moments, which would ultimately be a good thing because I was really good at distracting Jules when it came to those moments. “Before you lose your shit, no pun intended, I should also tell you that I already agreed to give the kids naming rights for your horse. Alex got to go first this time and last I heard, the name he and Alicia seemed to settle on was Douglas Dickie.”
“Douglas Dickie?” Jules nearly shouted. “I have to name my beautiful new girl Douglas Dickie? What kind of TV shows are these kids watching?” I chuckled because I’d already shown Jules a picture of the mare I’d bought him. After sobbing in my arms for ten minutes straight as he’d repeatedly apologized for leaving me, Jules began talking so fast about all the things he could do to bring some color to make his dream girl’s gorgeous eyes ‘pop’ he’d nearly missed my announcement that I’d promised the kids naming rights.
“Look at the bright side,” I said as I eased Jules down for a kiss. I gave him a peck on the lips. “We can call her Double Ds for short.” When Jules opened his mouth to yell at me again, I took advantage and kissed him until he was putty in my hands.
“Banana Jammies and Douglas Dickie,” Jules said on a moan when I let him come up for air. “We’re not calling her Double Ds,” he continued. “The only Double Ds I’ve ever been interested in is in porno vid—”
“How about DD?” I offered.
“DD,” Jules said as if testing the name. He smiled wide. “That’ll work.”
