A shudder ripples through her as I continue to ravish her mouth, my hands exploring every part of her wet and exposed breasts. We both moan as a hot surge of hunger rushes through me. She runs her hands up the hard plane of my torso before wrapping them around my neck. But when I take her nipples between my fingers and tighten my hold, pulling them out from her body, twisting them, her head falls back, and she mewls in such an intoxicating manner that my need to have her now shoots through me with a bolt of fire.

“Oh… Oh God,” she moans.

“I want you, Lyriope. Fuck, I need you,” I rasp, releasing her nipples and lifting her, at the same time lowering my head.

She whimpers when I move from one hard nipple to the other, drawing first one and then the other into my mouth, soothing the pain my fingers had caused. Every suck has my dick throbbing.

“More… please… Nick, please,” she begs.

She releases my neck to drop her hand in search of my cock I absolutely need her to touch, to stroke, to bring me to a completion I desperately need.

I need to come, but I don’t want to fuck her quite yet. Regardless of what I say, I’m not ready to risk changing the contract. I like it the way it is. I like her here. I like her owing me. I like her…

But I fucking need to come now.

Chapter Twenty

Lyriope

Maybe if I keep my eyes closed, I can block out that the man I so desperately want is keeping me prisoner. Maybe if I focus on the feelings of my body coming alive, I don’t have to face the reality that I’m betraying my soul by handing it over to the monster in this story. He said it himself. Villains aren’t the good guys. They are the bad guys. He is the bad guy.

This is wrong, so, so wrong.

But as I stroke his sex with my hand over and over, the water from the hot tub swooshing around us as we press our bodies together, I can no longer decipher the difference between right and wrong.

And though he may be the villain, he’s also just a scarred man with haunting demons of his past. There are reasons why he is the way he is. And oddly enough, I relate with them. He’s not just a character in a story to be feared, but a human with deep underlying pain.

A part of me wishes I hadn’t asked to know more about this man. Because now that I know more about his story, I want to become part of it. But I want to be the best chapter of his book.

I press my body up to his, ready to mount him and push his thickness inside of me when a loud, shrill voice cuts through the night.

“Ah, Nick Hudson! What a pleasure and delight seeing you out here. I’ve been looking for you high and low, and here you are right under my nose the entire time.”

Nick and I both freeze, pull apart, and inhale deeply. My body is screaming in protest, but I have no choice but to allow the frustration and disappointment to sink in. I’m so embittered that I don’t even try to scramble to conceal what we’re doing in the hot tub when I normally would be mortified at being caught in a situation like this by anyone.

A woman approaches us with long gray hair that flows to her lower back. She has large clunky jewels on her ears, around her neck, and on almost every single finger. She’s thin but holds her shoulders high with an elegance and power that must have taken years to master.

Nick doesn’t seem embarrassed by being caught naked in a hot tub at all. He makes no effort to conceal his body as she gets closer, so I don’t either. It’s not like I have the ability to do so anyway. I don’t see towels, and if I scurry for my clothing, I’m just going to make a fool of myself. I decide to take note of how Nick is carrying himself and try to do the same.

“Cora, I thought you were in Ibiza.”

Something has changed about Nick’s demeanor. He doesn’t possess the ruthless, finger-cutting, psychopath personality I’ve always seen him have around other people. He doesn’t show that side at all right now. He doesn’t even seem annoyed that he was interrupted from fucking someone. In fact, he has an almost boyish and whimsical quality about him as he greets the older lady.

“Oh I was going to go, but then I heard that Wonderland was happening tonight, and I very much was hoping for an invite. Rumor has it that it’s going to be one of the most magnificent themes yet.”
