This time it is a family beach vacation, except this year everyone from Sofia’s family is here also, including my parents. So what they did was buy out a whole hotel. I’m talking about every room bought out by Matthew or Casey.

“There they are.” Gabriella points at us when we make it to the loungers. She’s lying on the bed with her sunglasses on too. “The whole day is almost done.”

“We just got here,” Romeo says, flopping down beside her, and she turns to glare at him.

“I’m not talking to you. I’m talking to your sister and my cousin.” She points at us.

“I need some food,” Stone announces from beside me, looking around.

“The buffet is over there.” Romeo points to the side where the dining room is.

“Do you want anything to eat, gorgeous?” he asks, and I look up at him.

“Yes, a cheeseburger with fries.” I smile at him, and he leans down and kisses me on my lips.

“And some tequila,” Romeo adds. “How about a piññaaaaaaa coladaaaaa?” He sings the words, making Gabriella and me both groan.

“Where’s Zoey?” I look around and spot her in a bikini with her sunglasses on her head.

“Why does she look so fresh, like she didn’t crawl to bed at three o’clock?” Gabriella takes off her sunglasses to look at her.

“Because she didn’t,” Romeo states. “She left the two of you trying to do the tango at midnight. The only ones crawling were you two.”

“Hmm.” I put my hands on my hips. “I remember more people than that.”

“Well, considering you had seven personalities last night.” Romeo points at me. “I could see it.”

“You’re going to let him talk to me like that?” I look at Stone.

“Now you want me to talk for you?” He smirks, then looks back at Zoey.

“Who the fuck is she talking to?” He puts his hand over his eyes to shade the sun so he can look at the guy about six foot one with brown hair, wearing shorts that go to mid-thigh and an open button-down linen shirt.

“I think that’s Nash,” Romeo says.

“Who the fuck is Nash?” Stone asks, his eyes staying on Zoey as she puts her head back and laughs.

“He’s Caine’s brother,” Romeo replies like he should know who Nash is.

“Who the fuck is Caine?” Stone asks, not moving a muscle as he watches them interact.

“Sofia’s cousin Grace’s husband’s brother,” Gabriella informs us, using her hand to go through the people. “He got here last night.”

“Why is he so close to her?” Stone wonders out loud as Nash leans in to tell her something in her ear and puts his hand on her arm.

“Not fun, right?” Romeo teases, and I look at him and roll my lips. “Imagine sharing a wall.”

“Oh, stop, it wasn’t that bad,” Gabriella says, laughing.

“We changed rooms at two o’clock in the morning,” Romeo sneers.

“Well, if you would have taken care of your woman”—I cock my hip to the side—“then you wouldn’t have had time to listen to us.”

“It sounded like you were using a megaphone,” Romeo declares, getting up. “Right there! Right there! Right there!” He tries to mimic me.

Stone claps his hands together and laughs. “She was on the bed fully clothed and thought we were having sex.”

“We did!” I gasp.

“Gorgeous, I was in the shower, and when I came out, you asked me if it was just as good for me.” He grabs my hips and pulls me to him. “You were also half on the bed and half on the floor.”

I don’t bother answering him because my parents join us.

“Oh my God, we thought you guys were never going to come out of your room,” my father says, wearing just shorts and sipping something from a pineapple. “It’s almost dinner.”

I roll my eyes, but no one can see me since they’re covered. “Honey, leave them alone.” My mother sits at the end of the bed, wearing her own bikini and cover-up. “Remember when we first got together?” She snickers. “We stayed in the room for twenty-four hours straight.”

“I’m going to be sick.” Romeo sits up, putting his hand on his stomach.

“What?” my mother shrieks and takes a drink from her own pineapple. “It’s not a crime for us to have fun with each other.” She looks over at my father and winks.

“Is there any sweet tea left?” I turn to Stone. “I need to pour it in my eyeballs and hope it goes to my brain.”

He just laughs as he kisses me. “I’m going to eat.” He looks at Romeo, who shrugs and gets up to join him.

“Wait for me,” my father calls, joining them as they walk over to the food.

“Move.” I push Gabriella, who moves over to the other side. “I’m exhausted.”

“I thought you were going to rest and relax.” My mother looks at me. “You start your new job as soon as you go back.” In the past two months, I’ve completely moved to Nashville. The day after we got back together, Stone and I went back to Chicago, where I packed up all my clothes and made the move.
