Ian let out a faint whine and I knew he had to be hard as a rock, but I kept up the sweet tone. “He’s so nice. I bet you’re going to want to thank him after for being so generous.”

There were so many ways that Ian could thank our Dom; I’d have to be helpful and give them both some ideas.

“Maybe we should make it more interesting and ask him to get silk sheets or a cage for you?” Oh yes, either would be sexy. “They’re different kinds of fun, but I think you’d enjoy them both.”

His quiet whimper went right to my dick and I was pretty sure he was grabbing his. “I…Daddy, we can’t do new things without you there.”

That was the logic he was going with?

“Well, I guess the silk sheets wouldn’t be breaking that rule because Cohen already has soft ones.” I sighed, playing up the drama. “But I guess I’ll just have to get you a cage when I get back so we can play with that together.”

If I wasn’t careful, Cohen would want Ian and me to model those together, so I was going to have to word that idea just right.

“Daddy.” His shocked tone was sexy, but it faded into eagerness very quickly. “Would you really?”

“I remember all the interesting things you put on your list, cutie.” He was a very open-minded sub. “And I bet Cohen does too.”

I’d help him if he didn’t.

Ian sucked in a breath, but his response made me grin. “He’s got a good memory, Daddy.”

Yep, that was definitely a green light on both ideas…and it made me wonder what else our naughty boy was curious about.

“He does.” And he was very hardworking when it came to pleasing his sub. “He’s going to love picking things off your list and making you crazy.”

That got me another soft whine. “But we can wait until you get back, right? I’m not…I’m not greedy.”

Greedy?

Okay, we could go with that explanation.

“You’re going to be a good boy for Cohen, aren’t you?” I wasn’t going to lie, so avoiding answering seemed like the best idea. “He’d love it if you called him Sir and told him how much you needed to submit.”

The way he sucked in a breath said that might be too much for him. I was prepared to pull back when he gave me the most curious response. “He’s…he’s a very polite Dom, Daddy.”

Huh?

How did good manners and submission go together in this context?

“Yes, he’s a very polite Dom.” What else could I say to that? “He’s also very sweet and wants to make both of us happy.”

That had Ian making a quiet sound that seemed like he was agreeing with me, but again I wasn’t sure where his mind was going with the conversation.

“Do you…do you think he’s so nice he would do something he didn’t want to? I mean, just to make me happy?” Ian’s answer cleared up some of my questions…and gave me new ones.

Well, yes, I was fairly certain Cohen would do something like that, but I wasn’t sure that was the right answer to give him. Ian wasn’t at the point where he would see a nuanced answer.

“Cutie?” I waited until he gave a soft questioning sound before I continued. “I would never have suggested anything I thought he wouldn’t want. Everything he’s said about our relationships and just the time we spend together in general has told me that he wants to make both of us happy. His boy and his pup.”

Ian gave a low chuckle. “And his boy’s Daddy?”

I had to laugh. “It’s an interesting list of titles, but what it all boils down to is that we both need to trust him to be honest with what he wants and what he needs. Right now what I think he needs is to take care of you.”

Ian was quiet for several seconds. “Because you’re not here?”

“I think that’s a big part of it, yes.” I wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not, but it was honest. “He’s worried about taking care of you and making sure you’re not too stressed. But I think that it also gives him an outlet for his needs. He doesn’t like being alone either, and he’s a Dom.”

Ian chuckled and I could hear the genuine smile in his voice. “They need someone to take care of. Look at Roman and Preston when they were alone. It was stressful.”

Oh yeah.

“Those stories are insane. You’d be doing everyone a favor if you made sure Cohen got Dom time.” Ian’s giggle said he liked that justification.

“Okay, Daddy.” There was just enough sweetness in his tone to let me know his little side was inching closer to the surface. “I’ll be good and make sure Uncle Cohen doesn’t get nuts.”

Yep, if they didn’t get to the gym quick it’d be pancakes and cartoons instead.
