I opened my mouth to answer him, to really answer him out loud, but instead I found myself being kissed. By the guy who had just proudly announced to the world he was dating me, exclusively. The thought, coming out from nowhere, electrified me from head to toe.

Tingle, tingle, tingle, TINGLE.

When he released me, my whole body was still tingling. I touched my lips. They felt swollen and sensitive, burning under the remembered feel of Kellion’s kiss. It almost felt like they wanted to be covered by Kellion’s mouth again.

Yuck. I automatically wiped my lips with the back of my hand, hoping it could erase the lingering effect of Kellion’s kiss. But it was no use. His kiss had left an indelible mark, and I was scared that even in sleep I’d dream of its taste.

Yuck. I wiped my mouth more stringently, making Kellion chuckle.

“I’ll walk you to your dorm.”

I shook my head, scribbling on my board. YOU DON’T HAVE TO.

“If it were anyone else, I’d think you’re playing coy.”

I’M NOT. I underlined it thrice just so it was clear. Unfortunately, it only made him kiss me.

When he released me, I wiped my mouth again, for consistency’s sake.

“Do that again and I’ll kiss you longer each time.”

JERK.

He didn’t smile, but it felt like he did, with the way his eyes gleamed. Taking my hand, he started to walk, forcing me to fall alongside him. The number of students seemed to have grown, but none of them was able to get near us.

I squeezed his hand and when Kellion glanced at me, I gestured towards the men in black around us. Who are they?

“My bodyguards,” Kellion answered simply, as if it was a normal thing for a college guy to have two dozen uniformed men trailing after him. As he pulled out his phone from his pocket, he added in a distracted tone, “They’ve been there since day one. They were just incognito.”

I badly wanted to tell him it wasn’t as normal as he made it sound, but I couldn’t. Not when something cold suddenly washed over me, my instincts telling me something was wrong.

I tugged on his sleeve without thinking, and when Kellion glanced at me with a smile, I knew my instincts were right. Whatever he had read on his phone, it wasn’t good.

“What is it?” Kellion asked, a fake smile still playing on his lips.

Did he really think he could fool me? I wetted my lips, feeling nervous and helpless at the same time.

He frowned. “Aria?”

What’s wrong? I really wanted to ask him that, but I had a feeling if I did, it would only make him smile more.

My fingers started to move, words forming on my scribble board.

Want to come up?

Chapter Twelve

Dear Ashton,

As your sister, I consider it my responsibility to teach you about the birds and the bees.

So here’s your first lesson: an invitation to come up to a girl’s room doesn’t mean she’s inviting you to have sex.

Love, Your Big Sis

“SO THIS IS YOUR ROOM.”

I didn’t answer. Kellion Argyros hadn’t been in my room for more than five seconds and he was already making me regret my decision. My dorm room was of average size, but Kellion made it feel tiny and cramped, his presence dominating the entire space. He changed the place just by being there, and I had a feeling I would no longer be able to picture my room without him in it.

“It’s surprisingly...cheerful.”

I swiped one of the pillows from the bed and threw it at him. Very funny.

He caught the pillow with one hand, grinning. “Who knew you’d be into vintage chic?”

I threw more pillows at him, mainly because it was true. I was into girly vintage chic, but it was my deepest, darkest secret, knowing that it didn’t go well at all with my image.

I had painted my walls in old rose, and my bed was an art masterpiece in itself, with a sakura tree painted on its curved headboard. My bedsheets featured a black and white pattern, while the lamp on the desk was made of glass and brass, the body shaped like the Eiffel Tower.

I pointed at his lips and then I drew a line across my throat. If you tell anyone about this, I’ll kill you.

His grin widened just before he started taking photos of my room.

Aaargh.

I rushed towards him, intending to snatch his phone and maybe crush it into pieces, but Kellion only caught me with a deep, sexy chuckle. His mouth slammed against my lips, and the next thing I knew, we were on the bed, his body covering mine.

“I’m going to fuck you until tomorrow,” he whispered.

He was?

He lifted his head. “That’s why you invited me, right?”

I shook my head fiercely, trying to shove him away, placing my hands against his chest as I pushed.
