“I get that,” I say. “If it hadn’t been for Peter, I never would have been so sad that night at Flirt, and I never would have gotten hurt, and Frankie never would have walked me back home. I guess we both owe a lot to Peter for helping us find some incredible guys.”

“Now that we’re talking about it,” Gary says, “maybe I should have invited him to the wedding.”

“That’s some bullshit,” Derek chimes in.

“Okay, maybe not the wedding. We should send him a gift basket at least.”

“Well, he’s always on a diet,” I interject. “Maybe we could send him a gift basket of carbs.”

Gary laughs. “See? Who knew we would get along this much?” His expression turns serious. “But there’s one thing I just can’t get out of my head. This is gonna sound like a weird question, but your teeth, Evan. Come on. Like are they real? Are they yours? Are they caps? I have been wondering this…forever.”

“My teeth?” I ask, surprised by the question, but I can’t help but grin, showing off my pearly whites before replying, “These are Invisalign, Gare-bear.”

“Are you kidding me?” Hayden asks as he heads over and assesses my teeth.

“Nuh-uh,” Derek asks as he joins the guys in checking out my pretties. “I told everyone you had some rich daddy buy you a new mouth.”

“Nope,” I tell them. “My agent in high school recommended it over braces. Best decision I ever made.”

I flash another smile for them before we get back to work on getting ready for Gary and Travis’s big day until there’s a knock at the door.

The photographer steps in, and now I can’t help but imagine the dark-haired, tattooed hottie in the button-up and vest doing some rather inappropriate things in a Sean Cody video. “Just wanted to get a few staged shots of the groomsmen all together, if that’s all right,” the photographer says. “You mind if I borrow them, Gary?”

As we all head out the doorway together, Derek turns to me and says, “You make sexface in these pictures and upstage me, and you’ll be getting a butt plug for your birthday.” He has a serious but playful expression across his face, and I laugh at his teasing.

We head down the stairs, where the rest of the groomsmen are waiting.

Frankie winks at me before Derek turns and looks me over, saying, “Dude, you forgot your boutonniere.”

“Oh, shit. Be right back.”

I hurry back up the stairs, into the room we were in. Gary isn’t there, and I have a sneaking suspicion now that he and Travis aren’t being guarded by groomsmen, they’ve found a way to get a little action in before the ceremony.

I search for the bag we had the boutonnieres in, and when I find it, I grab the plastic packaging it’s in and rush back for the door.

Frankie rounds the corner and surprises me in the doorway, a smirk on his face as he leans on the doorframe.

“Good pups stay with the pack,” he warns, and I laugh before he hurries into the room, his lips slamming down on mine as he kicks the door closed behind him and smoothly fastens the lock with his left hand before both hands are on me.

I don’t fight him, because damn, he looks so hot in his bow tie.

He leans down and hoists me into the air, setting me back on a short dresser along the wall.

I set the boutonniere down beside me.

He’s wild with his movements, and he starts messing with the collar of my shirt.

“You’re messing up my tie, Frankie.”

“I just want to see it.”

He unfastens my tie and pulls the collar of my shirt loose, revealing my chain with the padlock, which is underneath my groomsman outfit.

This cocky grin expands across his face.

“You excited seeing that I’m all yours?” I ask him.

“Of course. What about you…” He reaches into his collar and pulls out his chain necklace with the key to my padlock on it. “…you excited to see that I’m all yours?”

I chuckle before he kisses me again, pushing his tongue into my mouth, my body going limp at his touch.

“Frankie…we…need…to get…back,” I force out between kisses.

“Sure, there will be plenty of time for me to ravage my pup after the wedding anyway,” he says with a wink before helping me put my boutonniere on.

We hurry back to meet up with the other groomsmen, and the photographer grabs the shots he wants and gets us to couple off for a few. I must have this glow in my cheeks, because they’re still burning from that hot time Frankie and I shared back in the house.

We all pass the time until soon, we’re standing in the house as the music cues up and the wedding coordinator sends us out in couples down the aisle.

There are rows of seats set up before the cove beach, Miss Laurie Firebomb standing before an arbor Derek and I decorated with flower arrangements earlier in the day.
