Leaning forward, she hugged Marcus tight. “You’re the bestest.”

“Right back at you, sweetie.”

She sat up and kissed Eliot’s cheek. “Love you.”

“Love you, little one.”

“Okay, I’m ready for my spanking. What shall I do?”

Ten minutes later, she was standing in the corner with her bottom half bare. Marcus was in a different corner. They’d been directed to poke their bottoms out and think about their actions.

Trouble is, she overthought everything. How long had she been standing here? It had to have been an hour. This was torture. Surely, this was against the Daddy codebook. Was there a codebook? There should be.

“All right, it’s been five minutes, you can both turn around and come here.”

Five minutes. Okay. That felt way longer.

Eliot was still sitting on the couch. They both flew toward him, nearly bumping into one another. He gathered them close, one on each knee. She loved that he was big enough to cuddle them both.

“Good babies. I hope you had a nice, long think about your naughtiness and how next time you’re going to do as Daddy says.”

“We did, Daddy,” Isla told him.

“I did for a bit. Then I thought about diggers,” Marcus said.

Eliot gave him a stern look while she gaped at him.

“What? I’m being honest.”

Eliot sighed. “I feel like I should give you extras for your mind wandering. But I also want to encourage honesty. And I know you find it hard to focus sometimes.”

“I do not… well, sometimes,” he admitted with a grin.

“Right, Isla is first. Marcus you can kneel in front of us and wait. No interfering or you get extras, understand?”

“Yes, Sir! I am on it, Daddy! Zipping my lips.”

“I’ll believe it when I see it.” Eliot lifted her off his knees so she was standing in front of him. He cupped her chin in his hand. “Ready, little one?”

“Sort of, Daddy.”

“I promise to never give you more than you can take. And to always stop if you say your safeword.”

“I know, Daddy.”

“Right, I don’t want to delay anymore. Over you come.”

He positioned her over his lap. Her nerves made her feel jittery. He’d given her a few slaps to the ass before, but she’d never been in this position.

You’re safe.

It’s Eliot.

“Ooh, that’s hot. Tap that, big sexy teddy bear,” Marcus said.

“Marcus,” Eliot warned. “That’s an extra two for you.”

She found herself relaxing. And she knew that was likely Marcus’ intention.

To distract her from her fears.

Eliot didn’t pin her down, which helped as well. One hand rested on her back to steady her and then his hand landed on her ass. She let out a gasp.

Ouch!

All right. Not terrible. She could handle it.

Smack! Smack!

She gasped.

Smack! Smack!

Getting worse. Her butt was starting to burn. Four more smacks landed, and she could feel the tears building. She didn’t know if they were in response to the spanking or because it felt like all of her emotions were bubbling away just below the surface. They were close to overflowing.

Smack! Smack!

A sob broke free. Eliot paused.

“Still okay to keep going, baby?”

“I-I… yes.”

As he continued to spank her, it felt like a release. A reason to let the tears flow. To let everything out. These last few weeks had been a rollercoaster of ups and downs.

And she was exhausted.

“That’s it. All over. You’re a good girl. You’re my very best girl.”

Eliot’s words ran over her, soothing her, but she still had more pain to let loose. At some stage, he turned her over. She buried her face into his chest as his arms came around her.

“Is she okay? Why is she crying so much?” Marcus asked worriedly.

“She’s all right. She’s just letting it all out. Why don’t you get Sophie sloth and her favorite blanket? Oh, and can you please get her pacifier and fill her bottle with water? I should have had that stuff ready. I’m out of practice.”

He moved. She whimpered, clinging tight, not wanting him to let go.

“It’s okay, my little one. Daddy is here. Marcus is here. We have you. We’re not going to let you go.”

A blanket landed over her and was tucked around her. Then a nipple was pressed to her lips. She turned her face away. She didn’t want it.

“You need to drink some water,” Eliot told her.

Something soft brushed her cheek. “Sophie Sloth is here to cheer you up,” Marcus said in a high-pitched voice. “She says drink your water.”

She shook her head.

“Isla,” Eliot said sternly. “You need some water. Open.”

Drat. She turned her head with a sigh, opening her mouth. Marcus had Sophie sloth spinning around and then clapping her hands together. She gulped down some water. Okay, she was thirstier than she thought.

“Good girl,” Eliot praised her as Marcus pressed Sophie’s face to her cheek, making a slurping kissing noise.

She giggled as Eliot drew the nipple from her mouth.

“There she is,” Eliot said, brushing her hair out of her face. “Are you feeling better?”
