When I walked back out, Blayze had both of my suitcases and my laptop bag over his shoulder.

“I can grab something.”

He winked. “I’ve got it.”

Ignoring the way my stupid heart tripped over itself with that wink, I reached for my purse and followed Blayze out of the hotel room. He stopped right before he got to the door and glanced back at me.

His gaze went to the bed, then back to me. My heart started to pound in my chest as a slow smile spread over his face.

If he said one sexual thing to me, I was going to punch him in the balls.

“Did you leave a tip for housekeeping?”

I blinked a few times as I let his words sink in. “A tip?”

“With all the traveling you do, Georgie, you don’t leave tips? I wouldn’t have pegged you for that type of person.”

My blood instantly boiled, and I dug through my purse and pulled out my wallet. “I’m not that type of person, Blayze. You caught me off guard with–”

“My good looks?”

I glanced up and shot him a dirty look. “No, by showing up at my room.”

“Kind of the same thing.”

With a grunt of frustration, I slapped a ten down on the side table and marched past Blayze and out of the room. An older couple came out of the room across from mine and smiled sweetly when they saw me and Blayze.

“Did you two enjoy your time in Missoula?” the woman asked.

“The fun is just beginning,” Blayze said before I could correct her.

“Oh? Honeymoon?” the gentleman asked.

Blayze and I both laughed. Hard.

“No, nothing like that. I’m here to interview him.” The words were out before I could stop them.

They both shot a quizzical look over to Blayze. “You must be an actor,” the woman said with a blush. “You’re so handsome.”

“Milly.” Her husband chuckled.

“I only speak the truth.”

Blayze set one of the suitcases down, tipped his hat at the woman, and crooned, “Why, thank you, ma’am. Coming from yourself, I’m honored.”

The husband tossed his head back and laughed. “Good God, son, you’ve had your practice. I don’t think I’ve seen my wife blush this hard in years.”

I couldn’t help but smile.

We all headed toward the elevator.

“Tell me, why are you interviewing this young man?” the older gentleman asked.

I cleared my throat as Blayze said, “She’s not interviewing me.”

Ignoring him, I went on. “It’s for a sports magazine, and Mr. Shaw’s father was a very successful bull rider.”

“Brock Shaw. That’s your daddy?” the man asked.

Blayze smiled with pride. “He is, indeed.”

Most kids of famous people had a chip on their shoulder, but not Blayze. You could see the pride he had for his father both in his eyes and on his face.

The man smiled back. “So, are you interviewing the father or son?”

“Both,” I replied with a friendly smile before Blayze could say another word.

The man stuck his hand out for Blayze to shake. “Larry Morris, and this is my wife, Milly.”

Blayze set the other suitcase down as I hit the down button for the elevator. “It’s a pleasure to meet you both. I’m Blayze Shaw, and this is Georgiana Crenshaw.”

We all exchanged our hellos.

“Do you ride bulls also, Blayze?” Larry asked.

“Not professionally, but I do it for fun or if I’m asked to for a charity ride. I help my uncle ready them sometimes for the PBR circuit.”

The idea of Blayze on a bull made my chest squeeze with anxiety. I placed my hand over my heart and willed the strange feeling away.

Larry chuckled. “I’ve only been on a bull once, when I was twenty-two, and I broke my arm. Never had the desire to get on one again.”

“Oh, that is terrible!” I said while Milly shook her head.

“It was the best thing that could have happened,” she said. “I don’t know how your mother did it, but there is no way I could have been married to a man who climbed on top of those animals for a living.”

We all chuckled. The elevator doors opened, and Blayze motioned for me and Milly to walk in first, followed by Larry.

We reached the lobby and all exited. “You two enjoy your day,” Larry said as he gave us both a warm smile. Milly did the same before they headed toward the front desk.

“Do you need to check out?” Blayze asked.

I shook my head. “I did it online.”

“Great, let’s go get some breakfast. I’m starving.”

A few minutes later, we were pulling up to a familiar place.

“Paul’s Pancakes! I haven’t been here since…well, since the last time I was in Montana.”

Blayze smiled as he got out of his truck and jogged around the back of it. I grabbed my purse from the backseat and was about to get out as well when my door opened. I turned to see Blayze standing there waiting for me.
