“Yes, daddy. Please.”

“We’ll do that today,” I promise. “But first, you need to be punished.”

Her pretty ass grinds against my cock and it takes every ounce of self-control I have not to pound her pussy right here, right now. I step away, double my belt in my hand, and bring it down, hard on her little ass. She hisses and comes up on her toes, but stays in position. But just as I rear back for a second good smack, a hard knock sounds at the door.

I freeze, and Giada’s eyes fly open.

“Get your stuff,” I whisper, threading my belt back through the loops of my pants. I take my seat behind the desk to hide my erection. She quickly unlocks the door. It’s just a student from class, though, a gangly, pimply guy with glasses. He looks vaguely familiar, and not just from class.

“Sorry, professor,” he says, seemingly oblivious to whatever awkward tension lies in the air. “Forgot my camera for photography earlier today.” He isn’t from the class we just had, his things tucked way back in the corner of the room from another class.

I scowl at the papers at my desk, pen in hand, as if he caught me innocently grading papers.

“Of course,” I tell him. “Get it.”

He quickly gets his camera, then leaves, shutting the door behind him.

Giada slumps back into a chair. “Well,” she mutters. “Way to ruin a mood.”

I sigh, keeping my voice low. “Tonight,” I tell her. “Verge. No more bending you over my desk.” I turn back to my papers and shake my head. “Not that I don’t want to fuck you up against it. But hell, this is too risky.” I don’t want to harm my job, but I don’t want to destroy her reputation either. It matters to me. I feel like a dick for even letting us get as far as we have.

“Of course, daddy,” she says, gathering up her things and coming to me. “I’ll see you at Verge.” She places a little kiss on my cheek. “Thank you.”

I’m not sure what she’s thanking me for. And as I watch her leave the classroom, I murmur to myself. “No, baby. Thank you.”

She’s brought me back from the dark place I’ve dwelt in for months. She’s given me hope. And hell, I do not want to fuck this up.

Chapter Eight

Giada

I stand nervously outside the classroom door. We have two more classes left, and unlike my recent escapades, I’ve decided that today is the day that I’ll show up on time for class. Professor Slade seems to think he’s about done with me pushing the envelope with tardiness, as last night’s demonstration with the strap most definitely enforced. I discreetly rub my ass. God, it was worth it, though. But today, I’m actually on time for once. I’m actually early. The only reason I’m hesitating is because I have to ask him something, and it’s got me all nervous. I square my shoulders and take a deep breath.

I can do this.

This is Geoff, after all. Never in my life have I been with anyone as tender as he can be. With Geoff, the world just fades away and it’s just the two of us. Even at Verge. Hell, especially at Verge.

I haven’t been to his place, yet, because we decided it was best to wait. If anyone ever caught me going into his apartment, both of us would be at risk, especially him. And I don’t want that for him. Verge is safer.

I’ll do it. I’ll go to class, and afterwards ask him what I need to ask him. I reach my hand for the doorknob, but before I turn the handle, someone speaks behind me.

“He isn’t there, yet.”

I jump and turn to see the same tall, gangly guy that nearly walked in on me and Geoff yesterday. Heart pounding, I give him a curious look.

“Oh?” I ask. “Well, that’s fine. I’m a little early, but that doesn’t matter.”

When he takes a step toward me, I take an involuntary step back. My back hits the doorknob, as the guy seems less subdued than he did yesterday, by a lot.

“What do you see in a guy like him?” he asks with a sneer.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Don’t play coy,” he says. “You know exactly what I’m talking about, you little slut.” My heart races. Has he seen us at Verge? But no, I’ve never seen him there. Still, it’s disconcerting the way he’s advancing on me.

He reaches for me, when a deep voice makes him freeze in place.

“Is there a problem here?” I sigh with relief when Geoff comes to my side, looking like he’s ready to tear this jerk from limb to limb. I want him to touch me, to hold me close to him, but he can’t and I know it. It’s too risky.
