I rolled my thumb over her clit with my fingers filling her up as I sucked her earlobe into my mouth. She shuddered with each wave of pleasure that moved throughout her body. I’d already given her five orgasms before we left the villa, and my insatiable queen was on the verge of another.

After she came, Alex turned around and climbed onto my lap, sucking my bottom lip into her mouth. She pushed up my shirt, her soft hands tracing over my scars, feeling the smooth ridges with the pads of her fingers. I stripped off my shirt, allowing her full access. She kissed my shoulder and slowly made her way down my chest.

Every time she kissed a scar, I thought of how she helped me heal. Without Alex, I would never have been capable of love. From the moment we met, she showed me kindness, something I hadn’t experienced since my mother was alive. And because of her, I could show the same love and compassion to our children. I would never be cruel and cold the way my father had been with me.

As we kissed, we removed each other’s clothing, bared to one another with nothing more than the waves crashing from a distance. I gripped her hips and lowered her onto my cock. She cried out as I filled her.

“Slow, Luca.” She rubbed her hand over my chest. “Make love to me.”

I bounced her up and down on my cock, taking my time. “I am, baby.”

Alex leaned forward, pressing her palms to my chest as her tongue swept into my mouth. My skin burned as heat coursed through my veins, creating a fire beneath my skin. After our lips parted, she stared down at me, looking beautiful and wild. I loved her more than anything in this world.

I kissed her neck, sucking and biting as she gripped my arms. Rocking my hips, I stared into her eyes. She moaned my name, whispering that she loved me. Right as she was about to come, I massaged her clit, and she unraveled like a ball of yarn, our orgasms rolling over us in unison.

Out of breath and sweaty, she rested her forehead against mine and gave me a peck on the lips. “I love you, Luca.”

I hugged her. “I love you, too, baby girl.”

My cell phone ringing interrupted our moment of perfection.

“I told them not to call while we’re on our honeymoon.”

“It must be important. You should get it.”

With an annoyed groan, I reached for my shorts and removed my cell phone from the pocket. It was Damian. He would never interfere with our trip unless it were an emergency.

I raised the phone to my ear. “This better be good.”

“It’s Kali…” Damian could hardly catch his breath. “She’s gone. Someone took her.”

I sat up, bringing Alex with me. “Are you sure she didn’t run again?”

“No, not this time.”

“Do you have proof someone kidnapped her?”

Alex tapped my shoulder. “What’s going on?”

“Someone took Kali.”

She gasped.

I heard a loud noise in the background, then Marcello said, “You need to get home. You’re not safe there. The Lucaya Group is involved. They blew up one of Drake’s research labs this week. Two men tried to take him, but his security team at Battle Industries reached him in time.”

The Lucaya Group was a terrorist organization responsible for killing Bastian and Damian’s parents. My uncle Claudio, aka The Carver, was also a known associate. If only we had discovered his involvement before it was too late. Since my father’s death, we’d had our share of close encounters, dodging constant threats. The group wanted Drake’s artificial intelligence software, powerful tech that in the wrong hands could kill a lot of people. And they would do anything to get it.

“We need your help,” Marcello said in a severe tone. “This isn’t like last time. Get home now.”

They could handle themselves. We had hundreds of men at our disposal. But if someone kidnapped Kali, then we had to address the threat as a family.

“We’ll leave tonight,” I said before ending the call.

Alex slid off me and threw her dress over her head. “Are you sure someone took her?”

“Yes.”

Alex fixed her dress and dropped to her knees beside me. “What if she ran?”

“Do you know something?”

She bit her lip. “Well… Kali kind of mentioned having issues with Damian and Bastian before we left. She said she wished she could walk away from Devil’s Creek and never look back.”

“Did she say anything else?”

“That she missed having a life outside of Devil’s Creek. She knows how to leave without them finding her.”

“Damn that girl,” I grunted. “She’s been nothing but a pain in my ass since high school. I wish Damian and Bastian would let her go.”

Alex chuckled. “Like you have room to talk. If you hadn’t been so possessive of me, we would not be sitting on this beach, married and having a child together.”
